Brand Demand Scan
Brand Demand Scan calculates the gap between demand that exists in your market category and demand your business actually captures, and translates that gap into a revenue figure.

For every visitor who arrives on your website, there are buyers who searched for the solution you provide, saw your business in results, and chose not to engage. They leave no data behind in standard analytics. They are visible in Search Console.
Demand capture rate is the proportion of total category search demand that a business converts into measurable engagement. Most businesses measure only what arrived; the capture rate makes the remainder visible.
Brand Demand Scan segments your GSC export into branded, category, and buying intent queries. The gap between your branded capture rate and your category capture rate is the primary diagnostic signal. That gap is your pipeline leakage, expressed as a revenue figure.
What BDS requires
One of three structural findings, expressed in revenue terms: Brand Dominance, Pipeline Leakage, or Untapped Potential. Delivered as a structured report.
The three findings
All three findings are surfaced simultaneously from a single GSC export. Each represents a distinct demand position with a distinct strategic implication.
Category search demand converts. The brand holds its position at the point where buyers are still deciding. Growth through the market is possible without referral dependency.
Read the finding →Category demand exists and the brand appears in it, but buyers divert to competitors before clicking through. Visibility is present. Capture is absent. The gap is quantifiable from existing data.
Read the finding →Category demand exists but the brand has no meaningful presence in it. Buyers are actively researching solutions the business provides, encountering other brands, without the business appearing as a candidate.

Tier is determined by query volume in the GSC export. All tiers produce the same three-finding diagnostic output. Scope and price scale with the complexity of the data set.
Methodology validation
The Brand Demand Scan three-layer framework has been validated across multiple engagements spanning different industries, business models, geographies, and domain maturity levels. The methodology is confirmed as model-agnostic: it applies equally to B2B and B2C, and handles edge cases correctly without manual intervention.
Two methodological refinements were identified during validation and incorporated into the standard process.
